Dear Chris, Graeme has just let us know about this lovely tribute page to Ian and it has been so heartwarming to read all the beautiful comments. As we passed on your sad news to our daughters they each responded with the same words - “ He was such a lovely man! “ And that says it all - it is how he will always be remembered , that lovely, always helpful man with that wonderful smile. We are so glad we spent all those lovely times together, either here in Melbourne or down at Phillip Island, enjoying your wonderful hospitality in beautiful Barnard Castle when we visited the UK and of course on that great trip we four did to New Zealand. All those days together just full of chatter and laughter - those wonderful memories will be with us always. We wish we could reach out and give you the biggest hug, Chris but we hope you know that you are in our thoughts and our fondest love will be with you and your family on Tuesday.
