Morning Chris and Claire, Second attempt at doing this as lost the first one! Mary forwarded the video of the funeral yesterday (David says it has now been sent from U3A and Rotary) and thank you Claire for managing to do that. It was just what was needed to accept the situation. Well I thought Bev did a lovely job and it couldn’t have been nicer under the circumstances. I was fine until Fur Elise - didn’t realise it was a favourite of Ian’s, as it is for us, me having played it for David when we were first married. Below is a picture of what I did during the service and would have included it if I had known - might have made less mistakes with that - played two versions of Ave Marie, Gymnopedie No 1, Chanson are Matin and Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana, which I hope Ian would have appreciated! I can’t manage to put a comment below the video, but would have thanked you Claire and last sentence of my first paragraph, so it would be good if you could that for me please. The postman has just thrown the letters in through the door and I see there is a card from you Chris - what a woman - even managed that in the circumstances! Will speak soon.
